Apply for services on behalf of a relative
Do you have a parent or another relative who is not comfortable using Vangin or other digital services?
Vangin allows you to submit applications on behalf of another person.
This option is available for a range of services, including:
Residential care homes
Day and evening care services
Occupational and physiotherapy services
Meal delivery services
Home cleaning services
Special transport services
Short-term accommodation for senior citizens
Please note that this is not a power of attorney. It only allows you to submit a specific application on behalf of another person through Vangin.
Sign in to Vangin using Samleikin. If you do not yet have Samleikin, you can order it through the Samleikin website.
Find the service you wish to apply for on behalf of another person.
Accept the terms of use.
Select the option indicating that you are applying on behalf of another citizen.
Complete the fields with information about the person you are applying for.
Download the "Applicant Declaration" form, print it and have the person you are applying for sign it.
Scan the signed form and attach it to the application. You can upload the signed form by dragging it into the upload field labelled "Drag a file here, or click to browse".
Complete the remainder of the application and submit it.

When applying on behalf of another person, the individual concerned must sign a declaration form, which can be downloaded from Vangin. The signed declaration form must be attached to the application on Vangin. You cannot continue with the application unless the declaration form has been attached.
The person submitting the application on behalf of another citizen will receive a receipt on Vangin. The receipt will be available under Receipts.
If the person on whose behalf the application was submitted later becomes a Vangin user, they will also be able to view the receipt in their own Vangin account.
