Communication on Vangin
With Vangin, all your communication with public authorities and municipalities is gathered in one place. This makes it simple, secure and easy to keep track of letters, messages, reminders and deadlines.
Service providers can communicate with you in different ways:
Mínboks is the official digital mailbox in the Faroe Islands and has the same legal status as traditional paper mail. Mínboks meets the requirements for secure digital communication. All messages are encrypted and linked directly to your personal identification number (P-tal), ensuring that communication is delivered to the correct recipient.
Calendar brings together reminders, invitations and deadlines. You can also view documents that require your signature here.
Snarboð are short messages sent directly to the app. They are usually informational and do not require you to respond or take any action.
In the contact information settings on Vangin, you can update your contact details, such as your phone number and email address. You can also choose how service providers can contact you.
