The Faroese Safety Authority is the Faroese authority in matters regarding working environment, public safety and emergency preparedness, measurement and weight, hazardous chemicals and dangerous work, explosives, fireworks, commercial diving and electrical safety. The Faroese Safety Authority is also the Faroese Occupational Insurance Council. Commercial Diving Certificate

In this self service, you can apply to have a commercial diving certificate issued. Please note that you must attach educational certificates, a health certificate from a doctor, and a first aid training certificate. Additionally, you must pay a fee for the certificate.

Commercial diving work on the continental shelf, in Faroese waters, and from Faroese ships can only be performed by individuals who have a commercial diving certificate.
